Staying Healthy and Safe
A little dab'll do ya-especially in these difficult times we are all living through with COVID-19 and its effect on work, life, social situations and more. PfP Industries has the solution to helping us stay healthy with two types of hand sanitizer.
FDA Approval
PfP Industries has two types of PLYClean hand sanitizer that has been approved by the FDA to kill most germs and is made in Texas. These products are processed using high quality key material and advanced technology. The hand sanitizer is produced, tested, warehouse and packaged with modern tools and machinery onsite to ensure the ingredients are balanced to work when needed.
Petro Connection
Hand sanitizers have a petrochemical relationship with oil and gas production. They can be made out of either ethyl alcohol, like the ethanol in alcoholic beverages, or isopropyl alcohol, which is typically derived from fossil fuels. Fossil fuels and propene are a byproduct of oil refining with PfP Industries. When water is added to propene, the chemical compound changes and isopropyl alcohol is the result.
It’s Everywhere
You rely on petroleum products whether you know it or not. Lipstick, deodorant, mascara, moisturize, nail polish, perfumes and colognes, shaving cream are all derived from hydrocarbon molecules to provide antistatic, plasticiser and viscosity properties.
Water Soluble
Petroleum-derived ethanol, along with propanol and isopropanol (isopropyl alcohol – rubbing alcohol), are vital to hand sanitizers because they are highly soluble in water. It is these ingredients that destroy pathogens which cause COVID-19 and other germs by breaking apart proteins, splitting cells into pieces or messing with a cell’s metabolism.
Ethyl Alcohol
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol when soap and water are not available. PfP Industries has surpassed those requirements with POLYclean Gel 70, which contains 70% ethyl alcohol and POLYclean Liquid 80 which contains 80% ethyl alcohol. This ensures that PfP Industries hand sanitizers not only kills germs, but also leaves you confident you are staying healthy and making good choices.
Using alcohol-based sanitizer
If you do not have access to water, using a hand sanitizer like the products you can find at PfP Industries can keep you safe from germs. Place a dab of the alcohol-based sanitizer for your hands into the cupped palm of one hand sufficient to wet both hands completely. Rub the gel or liquid into the palms, backs of the hands, between the fingers and under the nails. Keep these alcohol-based products away from and out of your eyes, ears, and mouth. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
Warnings
PfP Industries hand sanitizer is for external use only. Because of the alcohol content it is very flammable and must be kept away from heat or flame. It is recommended to not use these products in children less than 2 months of age or on an open skin wound. Stop using the products
if a rash or irritation occurs and ask a doctor for advice. These may be signs of a serious condition. Keep these products out of the reach of children and supervise children under 6 years of age to avoid swallowing. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Inhaling these products can irritate the nose and throat. Repeated high exposure can cause headache, dizziness, confusion, loss of coordination, unconsciousness and even death.
Active ingredients
PfP Industries hand sanitizer POLYclean gel 70 and POLYclean Liquid 80 have the inactive ingredients Isopropyl alcohol, sterile water, hydrogen peroxide, Ticacel*, Ammonium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate*. Both products should be stored between 15-30C (59-86F) and should avoid freezing and excessive heat above 40C (104F). Both types of hand sanitizer should be considered flammable liquid.

Washing your hands in this day and age should be a pleasant experience because we have to do it so much. PfP Industries offers several fragrances in their hand sanitizer products. The standard lemon scent helps seal the deal when sanitizing your hands with a fresh, clean aroma. Lavender is another scent that offers a relaxing sensation as you sanitize your hands. Eucalyptus scent offers a distinct camphoraceous smell that is slightly medicinal. And the coconut fragrance gives a warm and relaxing feeling as you sanitize your hands.
